Delhi Lokayukta 
The Delhi Lokayukta & Uplokayukta Act, 1995 (Delhi Act No.1 of 1996) came into force on 22nd Sept., 1997 and the first Lokayukta HMJ R.N. Aggarwal was appointed on 01.11.1997 for a term of five years. The main purpose of the Act is to eradicate the vice of corruption, favouritism, abuse of position and power and to present cleaner image of the top public functionaries. HMJ Harish Chandra Mishra is the current Lokayukta.
